Have you got a cruise in your future?
For the past five years I have been the study leader on eco-tours organized by Road Scholar. Traveling on small and medium-sized cruise ships we have visited Antarctica, Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, South America, the Amazon, Lesser Antilles, Panama Canal, Central America, Pacific Mexico, Alaska and British Columbia, and Africa.
Road Scholar organizes separate land tours at each stop (except on the smaller National Geographic/Lindblad & Geo Expeditions ships), we join each other for dinners, and I give a fun destination/topical lecture each day at sea for just our group.
For the remainder of 2015 and 2016 I am booked as study leader on cruises through the Panama Canal on Norwegian Cruise Lines, traveling from Los Angeles to Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, southern Mexico, Costa Rica, a daytime Panama Canal transit, and on to Miami, Florida. Upcoming dates include:
Cabin prices for these trips vary greatly depending on location, amenities and dates booked, but all include outstanding shore excursions, a first night hotel and welcome dinner, gratuities to drivers, guides ashore and to our cabin stewards and dining staff. Plus you get to hear my educational lectures aboard, and enjoy my translation/security/expertise when we’re ashore.
